A note on stainless steel: Stainless steel is stain-less, not rust-proof. All our stainless steel knives use top grade 400 series stainless steel. This is the same type of steel used in surgical instruments and high quality chefs knives. It will rust stain if you don't take care of it. If it's used in salt water you should flush it in fresh water, then always dry it, and then a light shot of WD-40 on the blade and any mechanical parts like hinges or joints will go a long way to preserving your knife's appearance.
